From 28th of May to 1st of June, for five days KNA participated in ‘2018 IAEA HRD Conference’ which was held in Hwabaek International Convention Center(HICO) in Gyeongju. This conference is the best event in the field of training nuclear professionals, and since the event was held in 2010 (in Dubai), 2014 (in Vienna), IAEA and KHNP(Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power) jointly hosted the event in Korea under the theme of ‘Challenges for obtaining future nuclear talents’.
Through this event, which was attended by 500 important people from 60 countries around the world, shared know-how on wide variety of topics such as obtaining nuclear talents, education and strengthening competency and organizational culture, and also pushed ahead events like exhibition, student contest and visiting main nuclear facilities.
During the conference KNA promoted the contents of Kor-UAE Internship Program and IAEA E-Learning program, while at the same time explained to the visitors about the achievements of MOU and the contents of International Cooperation by attending the exhibition. |
