Members of the delegation included officials from the Ministry of Mines and Energy and Electronuclear, Brazil’s state-owned nuclear company.

The delegates visited Korea from May 7th to May 12th. During their six-day visit, the delegates visited various nuclear facilities, including the KEPCO Nuclear Fuel Company and Doosan Heavy Industries.

Members of the Brazilian delegation were impressed by Korea’s nuclear fabrication process, as well as Korea’s successful exportation of local nuclear technology to the UAE.

The delegation also showed great interest towards Korea’s training programs and institutions, especially towards KINGS (KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School).
